 Sebastien started playing with lights when he was in college, around 1993. He stared working for a nightclub called The Dag in Alma, Quebec. This is where he realized that creating visually pleasing scenes could direct the mood of the crowd. He worked there for about 1.5  year while attending college. He then moved to Sept-Iles, QC to study computer sciences. After about 5 weeks, he was showing the teachers the new softwares and material coming out and became in charge of supporting many of the computer labs (without being paid). He figured it was a massive waste of time since he had to get a passing grade from teachers that he was showing the new stuff to. He quit college, and went back to working in clubs. He met some friends there and became the lighting guy for a couple nightclubs. 

A couple years passed, and he moved to Quebec where he started working for Future Shop as a computer sales guy. His focus was Apple products as years earlier, while in Alma College, he bought a Apple PowerBook 180c and completely tore it apart component by component, trying to understand what each chip was doing. By doing so, he fried the computer MANY times but learned a lot. 

Seb then joined his brother at Micro Logic, one of the biggest computer store in Quebec. He started in sales, but moved to tech support rather quickly. He stayed there for a couple years.  Seb made connections with Apple representatives that gave him an opportunity to work Levis College as a Apple specialist. Seb had a 6 month contract to turn around the Apple computer labs and update/upgrade all of them to current standards. After about 4 months, the whole Apple ecosystem was running on rails and management was happy. They offered him a permanent position, but he had to complete his computer science degree, which Seb refused to do as he was again teaching the new content to teachers in the College. 

He then moved to Info Unik, a small business looking for a Apple specialist. Info Unik paid to get Seb certified with Apple, which he passed with flying colors. (Software and Hardware). This was in 1999. He stayed there for about 1.5 year. He then moved to another small business called InfoWin. He became in charge of all tech support and sales. He didn't stay there long  and started his first company, SES Technologies. Offering at home service and custom solutions mainly for Apple products but also for Windows based systems. 

Again, Seb made some great business connections, but Apple products popularity was in great decline and he had a hard time keeping afloat. A client turned great friend then told him his brother Jacques Tanguay of Show Distribution was looking for a receptionist. He laughed it off and said he didn't "fit the profile" and could not do it. Well another couple weeks went by and bills had to be paid. Seb decided to give it a shot.   

He started working for Show Distribution, a company specialized in rigging and staging equipment. To make a long story short, Seb climbed the ladder fairly quickly. He started as receptionninst, then went on to assembly, sales, design, support, advertising and ultimately CEO. Seb was also a pioneer in making their automation system a staples in the industry.   They put thir systems on tours before but it did not go well. Seb used the system on a couple local events and then got sent to Japan on his first tout with Red Hot Chili Peppers, where he met John Fletcher of Five Points Production Services. It was the first time they were using the VarioLift system with the Chain Master system after their failed tour before. The pressure was kinda high. The tour went flawlessly and the word simply spread all over the industry that finally, a reliable automation system was available. 

Tours all over started using the system. Metallica, Eminem, 50 Cents, No Doubt, Linkin Park, Rush and many others started using their system.
